Stainless Steel Glycol Unit Cooler 10–120kW with Electric Defrost for 35% Ethylene Glycol Cold Storage
All heat exchange coil tubes adopt premium stainless steel to avoid corrosion from long-term contact with 35% ethylene glycol medium, effectively preventing inner tube rusting, scaling and medium leakage issues that commonly happen on ordinary carbon steel coolers. Corrosion-resistant aluminum fins or optional SS fins are assembled to enlarge effective heat exchange area and improve heat transfer efficiency between cold glycol and warehouse air.
The whole unit casing is available in hot-dipped galvanized steel or full stainless steel upon customer request, adapting to high humidity, frost-prone cold storage operating environment. Each unit is strictly pressure and leak tested before delivery to guarantee stable closed-loop glycol circulation under continuous running conditions.
Featured with standard electric defrost system: built-in electric heating elements evenly arranged around coil bundles. When coil surface accumulates excessive frost blocking airflow, the automatic control system triggers defrost cycle to melt frost rapidly and completely. Compared with hot gas defrost, electric defrost features simpler pipeline layout, lower initial installation cost and convenient on-site maintenance, perfectly matching mid-small to medium glycol cold storage projects.
