Stainless Steel Light Tube Evaporator
Stainless steel light tube evaporator features
1. Structure and principle
Light tube structure: no fins on the surface of the heat exchanger tube, relying on the light tube wall to contact the fluid (refrigerant, water or air) directly for heat exchange.
Workflow:
In the refrigeration system, the evaporator is usually used for the heat exchange between the refrigerant (e.g. Freon, ammonia) and the refrigerant carrier (e.g. water, glycol solution):
The liquid refrigerant evaporates and absorbs heat inside the tube, so as to cool the refrigerant carrier (e.g. chilled water) outside the tube, and is used to cool the end equipment (e.g. air conditioning coil, process equipment).
The cooled down refrigerant can be dissipated through the cooling tower, forming the circulating system of “evaporator cooling + cooling tower heat removal”.
2. Material Advantage (Stainless Steel)
Corrosion resistance: suitable for high humidity, salt spray (such as coastal areas) or harsh environments containing chemical media, avoiding the rust problem of ordinary carbon steel pipe.
Cleanliness: smooth surface is not easy to scale, suitable for poor water quality or high fluid cleanliness requirements of the scene (such as food, pharmaceutical industry).
Strength and life: stainless steel has high mechanical strength and good impact resistance, which prolongs the service life of the equipment.
