In Row Cooling Unit for Server Rooms & Data Center


In-row cooling units are typically installed between server cabinets or at the end of a row of cabinets, utilizing “hot aisle/cold aisle” cooling technology. They directly extract hot exhaust air from the hot aisle and distribute cool air to the cold aisle. Through this “tightly coupled cooling” technology, they stabilize the inlet temperature of critical IT servers, improve energy efficiency, and prevent the mixing of hot and cold air recirculation paths.


Advantages and Features of In-Row Cooling Units

Improved Energy Efficiency: Due to proximity to heat loads, the distance air must travel is shorter, reducing energy loss during air transportation and effectively lowering the data center's power usage effectiveness (PUE).

Precise Cooling: Enables precise temperature and airflow control based on server heat loads, allowing independent management of airflow and temperature to effectively eliminate hotspots and ensure server equipment operates in a stable temperature environment.

Space-saving: Features a compact design, typically occupying half a rack space, and generally does not require additional side clearance space. It can be installed on raised floors, solid floors, or suspended via raised floor mounting brackets, effectively saving valuable floor space in the data center.

Scalability: Features a modular structure, enabling flexible expansion to accommodate data center growth and increased server counts, facilitating the addition of cooling capacity.
