Steam-air Finned Tube Heat Exchangers for Roasters and Dryers
Customer Enquiry Information:
We assemble roasters and dryers for a cocoa factory. For this purpose we need steam-air finned tube heat exchangers.
For Roasters:
- 2 or 3 heat exchangers producing at least 25,000 m3/h of 140°C hot air.
Steam pressure 10 bar.
Inlet air temperature 30°C.
For Dryers: - 1 heat exchanger producing 5,000 m3/h of hot air at 100°C. 10 bar vapour pressure.
10 bar vapour pressure.
Inlet air temperature 30°C.
Steam-air finned tube heat exchangers play an important role in industrial applications such as roasters and dryers for heat transfer in heating or cooling processes. These heat exchangers work on the principle of using steam or hot water to heat or cool air for temperature control and humidity management.
In baking machines, such heat exchangers are commonly used to provide hot air for baking bread, biscuits and other baked products. By controlling the temperature and humidity of the heat exchanger, quality and colour control of the baked products can be achieved.
In dryers, steam-air finned tube heat exchangers are used to provide hot air to accelerate the drying process of wet materials. This is very common in areas such as food processing, wood drying, paper manufacturing and chemicals.
One of the key tasks of a heat exchanger is to provide temperature and humidity control. By adjusting the flow and temperature of steam or hot water, the desired drying or baking conditions can be achieved.
