Working Principle
Heat Conduction: When used for heating quartz sand, the hot medium (e.g. steam, thermal oil, etc.) flows inside the finned tube and the heat is transferred to the fins through the tube wall. Promote fluid perturbation: In the flow process of quartz sand, the fins will produce a certain degree of obstruction and perturbation of its role, so that the flow state of quartz sand is more turbulent, reducing the thermal resistance of the boundary layer, and further enhancing the heat transfer effect.
Application Scenarios in Quartz Sand Processing
Quartz Sand Drying: During the processing of quartz sand, it needs to be dried to remove moisture. The finned tube heat exchanger can be used as an important part of the drying equipment to transfer the heat from the hot air or other heat medium to the quartz sand, so that its moisture can be evaporated to achieve the purpose of drying.
Cooling of quartz sand: In some cases, such as after quartz sand has been calcined at high temperature or other heat treatment process, it needs to be cooled. Finned tube heat exchanger can take away the heat of quartz sand through the cooling medium flowing in the tube, so that it can be cooled to the required temperature quickly.
Preheating of quartz sand: Before the subsequent processing process of certain quartz sand, it needs to be preheated in order to improve the process efficiency and product quality. The finned tube heat exchanger can transfer the heat from the preheating medium to the quartz sand to make it reach the proper preheating temperature.
