Manufacturers can customise core dimensions freely according to required airflow (small household 50 m³/h to medium commercial 5,000 m³/h). Standardised moulds reduce lead time for custom ventilation equipment.

4. Convenient Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Rectangular straight air paths allow easy removal of the core for washing;

  • Flat plate surfaces do not easily trap heavy dust compared to complex folded counterflow channels;

  • No rotating components like rotary heat wheels, so no bearings, motors or belts to replace. Only periodic filter and core cleaning is needed.

Solid isolating plates fully separate fresh supply air and stale exhaust air. Odours, bacteria and pollutants from exhaust cannot leak into intake air, meeting hygiene requirements for offices, schools, apartments and food processing workshops.

Well-designed crossflow cores maintain moderate air resistance. They match standard ventilation fan static pressure without requiring high-power, high-energy-consumption blowers, helping control overall unit power consumption.
