1. Medium Conditions
External medium: Industrial high-temperature flue gas, normal temperature 200-600℃, short-term tolerance to 650℃;
Internal medium: Soft water/pure water, steam, thermal oil, air (recovered heat to produce hot water/steam/hot air);
Flue gas characteristics: Contains dust, sulfur oxides, and water vapor; some operating conditions involve low-temperature dew point corrosion and flue gas erosion; the system fan and flue experience continuous vibration.
2. Main Application Scenarios
Waste heat recovery from flue gas in boilers, industrial kilns, incinerators, heat treatment furnaces, smelting equipment, chemical heating furnaces, etc., for preheating combustion air, producing hot water/low-pressure steam, and heating process water/thermal oil.
Application Forms
Form 1: Flue Gas → Water/Steam Waste Heat Recovery (Most Commonly Used)
Process: High-temperature flue gas flows horizontally through the finned tube bundle outside the tubes → circulating water/softened water flows inside the tubes, absorbing heat to produce hot water or low-pressure steam;
Uses: Plant heating, process water, boiler feedwater preheating, widely used in coal/gas-fired boilers and kilns.
Form 2: Flue Gas → Air Air Preheater
Process: Flue gas releases heat outside the tubes, combustion air/process air is introduced inside the tubes;
Uses: Preheating boiler combustion air and kiln intake air, reducing fuel consumption, a mainstream solution for energy-saving retrofitting of industrial furnaces.
Form 3: Flue Gas → Thermal Oil Heat Exchange System
Process: High-temperature flue gas heats the thermal oil inside the tubes, and the thermal oil is then transported to various heat-using equipment;
Uses: Long-distance heat transmission, centralized heating of multiple equipment, suitable for large continuous production lines.
