Why Is My Wine Cellar AC Not Cooling? Quick Troubleshooting
Check power supply, circuit breaker and temperature setpoint. Set target temp between 12°C–18°C.
Ensure wine cellar door seals tightly and is not left open often. Hot air infiltration raises cellar temperature rapidly.
Remove all items blocking air intake, supply vents and rear heat exhaust area of the cooling unit.
Clean dirty air filters monthly to maintain smooth airflow.
For through-the-wall & wall-mounted models: Keep the back exhaust side well ventilated; high surrounding temperature will kill cooling performance.
If coils freeze over, run fan mode to defrost completely before restarting cooling.
If no cold air blows after DIY checks, contact professional technicians to inspect compressors, fans, temperature sensors and refrigerant leaks.
