Main Functions

Temperature control: Fruit processing workshop usually has strict requirements on temperature, different processing stages such as washing, sorting, refrigeration, etc. AHU can regulate and maintain the air temperature in the workshop in a suitable range through the function of refrigeration or heating, so as to ensure the quality of fruits in the processing process, and to prevent the fruits from deteriorating and rotting due to too high a temperature, or affect the normal operation of the processing equipment and the operating environment of the workers because of too low a temperature. Humidity regulation: suitable humidity is crucial for fruit processing. Selection points

Cold and heat demand: according to the area, height, number of personnel, equipment heat dissipation and local climate conditions of the fruit processing workshop, accurately calculate the cold load and heat load of the workshop, and select the AHU with appropriate cooling capacity and heat production capacity to ensure that it can meet the temperature control requirements of the workshop.

Air volume requirements: According to the standard of ventilation and air exchange times of the workshop and the actual production process requirements, determine the required fresh air volume and circulating air volume. Generally speaking, the fruit processing workshop needs to ensure a certain number of air replacement per hour to maintain a good air environment, and the air volume of AHU should be able to meet these requirements to ensure the effective circulation and renewal of air.

Purification level: according to the hygiene standard of fruit processing and product quality requirements, choose AHU with corresponding air purification capacity, for some fruit processing processes with very high hygiene requirements, such as aseptic packaging workshop, it may be necessary to choose AHU equipped with high-efficiency filters, which can reach a higher purification level, in order to remove small particles and microorganisms in the air.

Precision of humidity control: Different fruit processing processes have different requirements for humidity, and some processes may require precise control of humidity within a certain range. Therefore, we should pay attention to the humidity control precision of AHU when selecting, and choose the equipment that can meet the process requirements, such as AHU with advanced humidification and dehumidification technology and high precision of humidity sensor.


Precautions

Space layout: When installing AHU, the overall space layout of the fruit processing workshop should be fully considered to ensure that the position of air supply and return vents is reasonable, to avoid dead ends of airflow, to ensure uniform distribution of air in the workshop, and stabilization of temperature, humidity and other parameters.

Hygiene and cleaning: Due to the strict hygiene requirements of fruit processing workshop, AHU should be easy to clean and maintain, and its shell and internal components should be made of corrosion-resistant and easy-to-clean materials. Regularly clean and disinfect the AHU and replace the filters to prevent bacteria and mold from breeding inside the equipment and polluting the air in the workshop.

Noise control: AHU may produce a certain amount of noise when it is running, in order not to affect the working environment in the workshop and the physical and mental health of the workers, it should choose the equipment with lower noise, and take necessary measures for sound insulation and vibration damping, such as installing vibration damping pads, mufflers, and so on.
