Principle of operation: The principle of operation of a high pressure heat exchanger is basically to separate high temperature and high pressure steam from the cooling medium (usually water or air) so that they meet on a heat exchange surface to transfer heat. In the process, the hot steam releases heat and the cooling medium absorbs it, cooling the steam and condensing it into water, while heating the cooling medium into steam.

Applications: High pressure heat exchangers are widely used in steam power stations to provide processes such as boiler feedwater heating, reheating, superheating and steam condensation. These heat exchangers help improve the energy efficiency of power stations, reduce energy wastage and ensure stability and reliability of the power generation process.
