Shell‑and‑tube heat exchanger system designed to recover waste heat generated by industrial air compressors. It captures high‑temperature heat from compressor hot oil or compressed exhaust air, and transfers heat to water for hot‑water production. Reclaims otherwise wasted thermal energy, cuts boiler energy consumption, suitable for factory heating, process hot water, cleaning and domestic hot‑water supply.
Working Principle
High‑temperature medium (compressor lubricating oil / hot compressed air) flows through one side of the shell‑tube exchanger. Cold process water flows through the other side. Heat transfers from the hot compressor medium to water. The cooled oil / air returns back to the air compressor circulation loop. Heated water is stored in buffer tank for onsite usage. The complete system includes shell‑tube heat exchanger, connecting piping, valves, temperature sensors and circulation accessories.
