Quick-freezing evaporator in IQF
Quick-freezing evaporator is an important component in quick-freezing equipment, and its action principle is as follows:
Heat transfer: When the quick-freezing evaporator is in working condition, the refrigerant (usually ammonia or Freon, etc.) is in low-pressure state, after entering the evaporator, the refrigerant absorbs the heat in the outside air, which results in the temperature of the refrigerant rising.
Evaporation process: After absorbing heat, the refrigerant is partially or completely transformed into a gaseous state, which is a heat absorption process. Inside the evaporator, the liquid refrigerant comes into contact with the outside air, thus evaporating into a gaseous state and absorbing heat from the surrounding environment.
Cooling effect: When the refrigerant evaporates, its temperature decreases, making the internal temperature of the quick-freezing evaporator also decrease. This cooling effect allows the evaporator to rapidly cool the object or fluid being processed.
Continuous Cycle: The refrigerant creates a circular flow inside the evaporator, continuously absorbing heat, evaporating to a gaseous state, and then entering other refrigeration system components, such as the compressor, to restart the refrigeration cycle.
Through the above process, the quick-freeze evaporator is able to absorb heat from the object or fluid being processed and cool it down quickly to achieve efficient quick-freezing results.
