How to Design Fin and Tube Type Heat Exchanger?


A fins and tube type heat exchanger is a widely used device for efficient heat transfer between two fluids.


This type of heat exchanger consists of tubes through which one fluid flows, and fins attached to the tubes to enhance the heat transfer area. The fins increase the surface area exposed to the other fluid, thereby improving the heat exchange rate.
