An economizer is a core finned tube heat exchange equipment installed at the tail flue of boilers, melting furnaces, gensets and glass fiber kilns. It recovers low-temperature residual heat from exhaust flue gas to preheat boiler feed water, greatly reducing fuel consumption and improving overall boiler thermal efficiency.
Our economizer adopts high-frequency welded finned tube bundles as heat transfer core. Multiple material options (carbon steel, ND steel, SUS304, SUS316L stainless steel) are available to solve acid dew point corrosion, ash blockage and high-temperature aging problems for different industrial flue gas conditions. Widely used in glass fiber plants, power stations, chemical factories, biomass boilers and CHP systems.
Working Principle
High-temperature flue gas flows outside the finned tube bundles, while cold boiler feed water circulates inside the tubes. Full heat exchange occurs between flue gas and water:
1. Cold feed water absorbs waste heat and temperature rises before entering the boiler drum, cutting the heat load the boiler needs to provide;
2. Flue gas temperature drops significantly after heat release, lowering the operating load of subsequent dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification equipment;
3. For corrosive flue gas with sulfur and chloride, low-temperature anti-corrosion materials avoid acid condensate corrosion penetrating tube walls.
