Tube-fin Evaporator for customer from Kenya.
Below is the customer requirement:
We are looking for an evaporator coil for a heat pump project.
We need capacities in the range 15-45 KW. The refrigerant is R134A.
The tube and fin evaporator coil is a heat exchanger commonly used in heat pump systems. Its design structure enables it to provide a large heat exchange surface in a relatively small volume, thus increasing the heat exchange efficiency. Below are the basic working principles and characteristics of a tube-fin evaporator in a heat pump project:
Principle of Operation:
Refrigerant Cycle: The refrigerant enters the tube-fin evaporator in liquid form. When the refrigerant flows through the internal piping, it evaporates into a gaseous state and absorbs heat from the surrounding environment.
Heat Absorption: The internal piping of the tube-fin evaporator is externally covered with fins, which increase the surface area for heat transfer. When air or other media pass through these fins, the heat released by the refrigerant is transferred to the air or media, resulting in the evaporation of the refrigerant and the absorption of heat.
Evaporation Process: The refrigerant continues to evaporate in the evaporator, thereby lowering the ambient temperature. This process changes the refrigerant from a liquid to a gaseous state and absorbs sufficient heat.
The refrigerant leaves the evaporator after the gasification is completed: The refrigerant in the evaporator leaves the evaporator in the form of a gas after absorbing enough heat, ready to enter the compression link to complete the heat pump cycle.
Characteristics:
Highly efficient heat transfer: The fin design of the tube-fin evaporator increases the heat transfer surface area and improves the heat exchange efficiency, ensuring fast and efficient heat transfer.
Compact design: Compared with some other types of heat exchange equipment, the tube and fin evaporator can complete a large amount of heat exchange in a relatively small space, which makes it particularly suitable for heat pump systems with limited space.
Corrosion Resistant: The internal piping and external fins of the tube and fin evaporator are usually made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, or other corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-term stable operation.
Adaptable: Tube-fin evaporators can be used in a variety of operating conditions and are suitable for different types of refrigerants and environmental conditions.
Customizable: According to specific heat pump project requirements, the size and material of the tube and fin evaporator can be customized to meet the performance and efficiency requirements of the system.
Overall, the tube and fin evaporator has a key role in heat pump systems, which effectively realizes the evaporation process of the refrigerant and provides stable and efficient performance for the heat pump system.
