Spray‑Assisted Adiabatic Dry Cooler Shipped to Customer in Saudi Arabia

CST Heat Exchanger has completed production and shipment of spray‑assisted adiabatic dry coolers for a Saudi‑based industrial client. This hybrid dry cooling unit is built to handle extremely high ambient temperatures typical of desert climate conditions.

The unit runs in standard dry‑cooling mode under normal conditions. When outdoor temperature rises sharply, the integrated water spray system activates to boost heat rejection capacity without switching to full evaporative cooling tower operation. It helps stabilize process fluid temperature while keeping water consumption at a reasonable level, well‑suited for water‑scarce Middle‑East sites.

Anti‑sand and anti‑corrosion treatment is applied for local harsh operating environment. The spray nozzles and piping are configured to reduce blocking risks caused by desert dust. Customers can select custom cooling capacity, fan configuration and protection coatings according to their field installation requirements.

This spray‑equipped dry cooler works for engine cooling, process cooling and data‑center closed‑loop cooling projects across Saudi Arabia and GCC regions.
