However, cooling efficiency is limited; under high-temperature environments or heavy loads, it may fail to effectively control transformer temperature rise.
Water-Cooled Heat Dissipation System
Working Principle: Water-cooled pipes are installed inside the transformer. Heat is transferred away through water circulation and released into the atmosphere via cooling towers or other heat dissipation equipment.
Structural Components: Common elements include water-cooled plates and coils. Coolant flows through metal plates or coils embedded near the transformer tank or windings, indirectly cooling the transformer oil or components via the metal walls. Some systems may include auxiliary equipment like circulation pumps, cooling tanks, and temperature controllers to ensure water circulation and temperature regulation.
Characteristics: High heat dissipation efficiency, effectively reducing transformer temperature rise. Suitable for large-capacity, high-power marine transformers. However, it requires significant investment, installation space, and relatively complex maintenance, including regular inspections of cooling water pipe seals and water quality.
