How to choose the pitch of the cold storage evaporator fan?
As the evaporator commonly used in the refrigeration system, the air cooler is properly selected, which directly affects the efficiency of the refrigeration system. As we all know, air coolers use different fin pitches depending on the required ambient temperature.
Our common air coolers have fin spacing of 4mm, 4.5mm, 6-8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and front and rear variable pitch. The fin spacing is small, suitable for high temperature environment; the lower the temperature of the cold storage, the larger the fin spacing is required. If the selection is unreasonable, the fins will frost quickly, which will soon block the air passage, make it difficult to cool down the cold storage, and the efficiency of the compressor will not be fully utilized, resulting in an increase in the power consumption of the refrigeration system.
According to engineering experience, generally in the environment of 0°C-20°C, such as workshop air conditioner, cool storage, cold storage hallway, fresh storage, air conditioning storage, ripening storage, etc., choose a cooling fan with a blade distance of 4mm or 4.5mm;
-16°C~-25°C environment, such as low-temperature refrigeration, low-temperature logistics warehouse, choose a cooling fan with a blade distance of 6mm-8mm;
-25 ℃ ~ -35 ℃ quick-freezing warehouse, generally choose the cold air with a sheet distance of 10mm and 12mm
Machine, the humidity of quick-frozen goods is high, the cooling fan with variable fin spacing will be selected, and the fin spacing on the air inlet side can reach 16mm.
However, in some occasions, the fin spacing of the air cooler cannot be selected simply according to the temperature, such as rapid pre-cooling and acid discharge of meat and vegetables. If the speed is fast and the humidity of the goods is high, it is not suitable to use a cooling fan with a spacing of 4mm or 4.5mm. It is necessary to use a cooling fan with a spacing of 8mm or even 10mm.
There are also fresh-keeping warehouses for storing fruits and vegetables such as garlic and apples. The suitable storage temperature is generally -2°C. For fresh-keeping or air-conditioned warehouses with a storage temperature lower than 0°C, it is also necessary to use cold air with a spacing of not less than 8mm. In order to avoid rapid frosting and blockage of air ducts and increased power consumption.
