1. Low energy consumption
Compared to traditional compression type central air conditioning, it consumes only 1/4 to 1/3 of electricity, with high air volume displacement ventilation. The height of the factory floor is generally 6-12m or more, and there is no need to cool the entire space, only supplying air to the personnel work area.
2. High air volume to improve stuffiness in the factory building
It can achieve post air supply and full area air supply, while replacing workshop dust, hot air, and waste heat generated by welding/equipment heat dissipation, improving high temperature, stuffiness, and air turbidity.

Limitations, selection focus
>Very critical: The higher the air humidity, the smaller the cooling amplitude
-Dry areas: excellent cooling effect, can reduce 8-12 ℃;
-Southern humid and hot regions: Direct evaporative cooling has limited cooling, and the humidity of the air outlet is relatively high, resulting in humid workshops; Priority should be given to indirect+direct composite evaporative cooling, or evaporative cooling+auxiliary cooling source, and direct evaporation alone cannot be used.
-If there are materials, electronic components, and precision equipment in the workshop that are afraid of moisture, use direct evaporation with caution to avoid condensation and moisture.
-Water quality requirements: Circulating water is prone to scaling and requires water treatment and discharge. Regular maintenance of filters and wet curtains is necessary to prevent the growth of mold.
Two common layout schemes for large factory buildings
Plan 1: Whole machine unit+air duct full range air supply
The evaporative cooling host is installed on the roof/outdoor platform, with the main air duct laid along the top of the factory building and the air supply outlet arranged downwards for full area air supply, suitable for large factories with scattered personnel distribution.
Option 2: Post ventilation (more cost-effective)
Do not cool down the entire workshop, only provide cold air to the workers' operating positions, and do not handle other areas. Suitable for factories with fewer personnel, more equipment, and large factory areas, significantly reducing equipment and operating costs.
Option 3: Combination of evaporative cooling and exhaust fan
Evaporative cooling is used for air supply, and negative pressure exhaust fans are installed on walls/roofs to form orderly airflow. Hot air is directly discharged from the factory building, with high cooling efficiency. Steel structure factories are the most commonly used.
