Waste Incineration Boiler Air Preheater
Air Preheater for Waste Incineration Boilers
The core role of the air preheater in a waste incineration boiler is to ensure stable incineration, especially promoting the combustion of low-calorific-value waste.
Municipal domestic waste has a complex composition, fluctuates greatly in calorific value, and often contains high moisture content. Heating the primary and secondary air to high temperatures (typically above 200-250°C) provides a stable, powerful heat source for the waste in the incinerator, quickly drying it and igniting it. This ensures a stable combustion temperature above 850°C, which is crucial for completely decomposing hazardous substances (such as dioxins) and maintaining stable incineration line operation.
Suppressing dioxin formation at the source:
During waste incineration, dioxins are easily regenerated in the temperature range of 250-450°C.
The air preheater heats the cold air, which means it also cools the flue gas, allowing the flue gas temperature to quickly exceed this critical temperature range, effectively suppressing the regeneration of dioxins in the tail flue.
