In a large-scale water-cooled mine in Ethiopia with a build power of 100mw, the customer adopted Vrcoolertech's dry cooler solution on the advice of Bitmain's technical experts. This solution helped the mine save water resources and realize “waterless mining”, while reducing the noise of containers and providing great convenience in transportation and installation.
While water-cooled mines typically require large quantities of water for the cooling cycle, the dry cooler solution utilizes air as the cooling medium, eliminating the need to consume large quantities of water. This can significantly reduce the operating costs of mines in Ethiopian regions where water is scarce or costly to consume, as well as reducing dependence on local water resources and potential water management issues.
The operation noise of the dry cooler is relatively low. Combined with the soundproof structure of the container, it can effectively reduce the noise generated by the operation of the mining machine, minimize the impact on the surrounding environment and the staff, improve the working environment, and more in line with the local ambient noise standards and the living needs of the surrounding residents.

The dry cooler system is relatively simple and does not require a complex water circulation system and related water treatment equipment, which reduces the maintenance workload and maintenance costs of the system, such as reducing the maintenance and repair of pumps, water pipes, water tanks and other equipment, as well as monitoring and treating the cooling water quality.
