Tube Fin Type Oil Cooler for Construction Vehicles
In engineering vehicles (such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, etc.) in the hydraulic system, transmission or engine, tube-fin type oil cooler (Tube Fin Type Oil Cooler) is the control of oil temperature, to ensure the stable operation of the equipment of the key heat dissipation components. This kind of equipment working environment is harsh (high dust, strong vibration, large loads), hydraulic oil, transmission oil and other materials are easy to friction, extrusion produces a large amount of heat, if the oil temperature exceeds the critical value (usually hydraulic oil> 80 ℃, transmission oil> 100 ℃), will lead to a drop in fluid viscosity, seal aging, system efficiency plummeted, and even lead to failure. Tube and fin oil coolers control the oil temperature in a safe range (50-70℃ for hydraulic oil and 60-90℃ for transmission oil) through highly efficient heat exchange, and their structure and working logic are suitable for the severe demands of construction vehicles.
Tube and fin oil cooler according to the heat dissipation needs of different systems, in construction vehicles to assume a differentiated role:
Hydraulic System Cooling:
Hydraulic system (main pump, main valve, oil cylinder) of engineering vehicles is the main source of heat production (accounting for 60-70% of the total heat), tube and fin cooler needs to match the large flow (100-500 L/min), high cooling power (10-30kW), usually installed in the engine fan side. Tube-fin coolers need to be matched with high flow rate (100-500 L/min) and high heat dissipation power (10-30kW), and are usually installed on the side of the engine fan, utilizing the engine wind source to dissipate heat (e.g., hydraulic oil cooler in excavators).
Transmission Oil Cooling:
Transmission oil needs to be controlled at 60-90℃ due to the heat generated by gear meshing, and the flow rate of the cooler is small (30-100 L/min), and it mostly adopts an independent electric fan (e.g., loader's transmission cooler) to avoid the oil temperature being too high when the engine is shut down.
Engine Oil Cooling:
Some high-power construction vehicles (such as cranes over 30 tons) are equipped with a tube and fin oil cooler, which is connected in parallel with the engine coolant system to assist in lowering the temperature of the oil (usually 10-15 ℃ higher than the temperature of the coolant), to extend the engine life.
