While the most common shape for evaporator coils is typically rectangular, it's indeed possible to find triangular-shaped evaporator coils in some specialized or custom-designed air conditioning systems.

The shape of the evaporator coil doesn't fundamentally change how it functions. The purpose of the evaporator coil remains the same: to absorb heat from the indoor air, thereby cooling the air and removing humidity. This cooled and dehumidified air is then circulated back into the living or working space to maintain a comfortable indoor environment.
