Tail Gas Recovery Condenser for Electric and Gas Boilers
An electric and gas boiler tail gas recovery condenser is a device used to recover waste heat and water vapour from the gas emissions of a gas boiler. This type of condenser is commonly used to improve the energy efficiency of boiler systems and reduce environmental impact. The following are its working principle and advantages:
Working Principle:
In an electric gas boiler, combustion of gas or oil produces high temperature flue gases which contain large amounts of water vapour and heat.
An exhaust gas recovery condenser is usually installed in the flue gas discharge path of the boiler system. This allows the flue gases to dissipate as much waste heat as possible before passing through the condenser.
The interior of the condenser contains condenser tubes or plates, and through these surfaces the water vapour in the flue gas begins to condense. This process transfers the heat from the flue gas to the cooling water or other cooling medium in the condenser.
Through the condensation process, the waste heat in the flue gas is captured and recovered. This waste heat can be used to heat water or heating, improving the energy efficiency of the boiler system.
After passing through the condenser, the flue gases discharged into the atmosphere have a much lower moisture content and at the same time a lower temperature. This helps to reduce the adverse environmental effects of flue gases, such as acid rain and air pollutant emissions.
Advantages:
- Improved energy efficiency: through waste heat recovery, the condenser can significantly improve the combustion efficiency of the boiler system, reducing energy consumption and saving energy costs.
- Reduced environmental impact: Reducing the moisture content and temperature in the flue gas emissions helps to reduce the negative impact on the environment and improve environmental performance.
- Reduced operating costs: By improving energy efficiency, condensers can reduce the operating costs of boiler systems, including fuel and maintenance costs.
- Increase boiler life: Lower flue gas temperatures help to reduce corrosion and wear and tear in boiler systems, thereby extending the life of the equipment.
