Vrcoolertech manufactured the condenser according to the needs of the customer in Israel.
Application: Steam condenser for a butter refinery, evaporating 840 liters of water per hour.
A steam condenser is a common type of heat exchange equipment used to convert steam to a liquid state, releasing heat. In the tallow refining process, steam condensers are used to cool the steam so that it condenses into a liquid, and this condensed moisture can then be recovered and utilized.
How it works:
Steam entering the condenser: Hot steam is generated from the refining kettle and directed into the steam condenser.
Cooling Process: In the condenser, the steam is exposed to a cooling surface, usually a series of metal pipes. These pipes are usually surrounded on the outside by cold water or a cooling medium. When steam comes into contact with these cooling pipes, its heat is transferred to the cooling medium, causing the steam to cool and condense into a liquid.
Liquid Discharge: The condensed water is discharged from the system and is typically used as cooling water or can be utilized further.
Heat Recovery: The heat absorbed by the condenser from the steam can be used to heat other media or for other heating processes, allowing for the recovery and reuse of thermal energy.
