Stainless Steel Evaporator for Chilling And Freezing Applications
Working Principle
Direct expansion: The liquid refrigerant evaporates in the evaporator and absorbs the heat of the medium to be cooled (e.g. air or water), thus realizing the cooling or freezing effect. The pressure inside the evaporator is low, which enables the liquid refrigerant to boil and evaporate at a low temperature.
Full-liquid type: the evaporator is filled with liquid refrigerant, the cooled medium flows inside the tube and exchanges heat with the liquid refrigerant outside the tube, and the liquid refrigerant absorbs heat and evaporates into gaseous state.
Structural characteristics
Heat exchanger tube: usually made of stainless steel, such as 304 or 316 stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity.
Shell: generally made of stainless steel plate, can withstand a certain pressure and temperature, to protect the internal heat exchanger tube and other components.
Refrigerant distribution device: Ensure the refrigerant can be evenly distributed to each heat exchanger tube to improve the heat exchange efficiency.
