Industrial Boiler Waste Heat Recovery Heat Exchanger
An industrial boiler waste heat recovery heat exchanger is a device used to recover exhaust or waste heat from boilers to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. It does this by transferring the heat from the exhaust gases to water or other fluids, thereby heating those fluids, which in turn can be used in the production process or for heating.
Main components
Heat exchanger tube: The pipe used to transfer heat, usually made of high-temperature and corrosion-resistant materials.
Shell: surrounds the heat exchanger tube, keeps the fluid flowing and isolates the different fluids.
Inlet and outlet: Pipes that connect the fluid in and out of the heat exchanger.
Support structure: Ensures the heat exchanger is securely installed and operates safely.
Working Principle
Exhaust gas inflow: Exhaust gas from the boiler enters through the inlet of the heat exchanger.
Heat exchange: The heat of the exhaust gas is transferred to the fluid (e.g. water) through the heat exchanger tubes, so that the fluid is heated.
Cooling of exhaust gas: After passing through the heat exchanger, the temperature of the exhaust gas decreases, reducing the amount of heat discharged.
Hot fluid output: The heated fluid flows out of the heat exchanger outlet for subsequent use.
Advantages
Energy saving and consumption reduction: Increase the overall thermal efficiency of the boiler by recovering waste heat.
Reduced emissions: Reduces the temperature of the exhaust gases, thus reducing the impact on the environment.
Economic benefits: Reduces energy costs and improves the economics of industrial production.
