Fruit and vegetable cold storage: fruit and vegetable cold storage on the temperature and humidity control requirements are more stringent, and fruit and vegetable respiration will produce heat, generally every cubic meter of space needs 10-15W of refrigeration. To a 500 cubic meters of fruit and vegetable cold storage, for example, may require 5-7.5kW of refrigeration capacity, the applicable area is relatively small, may be about 30-50 square meters.

By Insulation and Climatic Conditions

Well insulated barn: If the barn is well insulated, e.g. with efficient insulation materials and sealing measures, the cooling capacity requirement for air-conditioning is relatively small and the applicable area can be appropriately increased. For example, under the same cooling capacity, the applicable area of a well insulated barn can be increased by 20%-30% compared with an ordinary barn.

Hot climate areas: In hot and humid areas, the barn needs more cooling capacity to maintain a low-temperature environment, and the applicable area will be reduced accordingly. In cooler climates, the area of application of barn air conditioners can be increased appropriately.
