An air heater heat exchanger is a device used to heat air, usually in heating systems, air conditioning systems or manufacturing processes in industrial, commercial and residential buildings. These heat exchangers heat cold air to the desired temperature by transferring heat to the air flowing through it.
The working principle of air heater heat exchangers is as follows:
Heat transfer from the heat source medium: The heat source medium (e.g. hot water or steam) flows through the pipes or plates of the heat exchanger and releases heat.
Air flow: The air to be heated passes through the heat exchanger and passes over the surface of the heat exchange tubes or plates. In this process, heat is exchanged between the air and the heat source medium.
Heat transfer: Heat is transferred from the heat source medium to the air, raising the temperature of the air.
Cooled medium discharge: The cooled heat source medium becomes cooler after the heat exchange and leaves the heat exchanger via the discharge pipe.
