Dry coolers usually consist of an evaporator and a condenser. The evaporator is the heat exchanger in a dry cooler, which receives the heat source and transfers it to the refrigerant. The refrigerant in the evaporator undergoes evaporation as it absorbs heat from the heat source.
The condenser is another heat exchanger in the dry cooler, which receives the refrigerant from the evaporator and converts it to a liquid state through a cooling and compression process. In the condenser, the refrigerant releases heat and is cooled by the circulation of a cooling medium (e.g., air or water), which transforms the refrigerant from a gaseous to a liquid state.
The evaporator and condenser are the two key components in a dry cooler that work together to achieve heat transfer and the refrigeration cycle. The evaporator absorbs heat from a heat source and the condenser cools the refrigerant and converts it to a liquid state, forming a closed refrigeration cycle.
Vrcoolertech CST supplies evaporator condensers to dry cooler manufacturers, we can make evaporator condensers up to 20 metres long, which is perfectly suited to the needs of dry coolers. We can supply evaporator condenser cores for dry coolers over 1MW.
