Environmental requirements: Reducing the amount of pollutants in the flue gases, especially particles or gases that may be formed at high temperatures.

Improvement of energy efficiency: Recovery of heat energy may be critical in some industrial processes. By cooling the hot flue gases, heat can be more easily recovered from them and energy efficiency can be improved.

Using air to reduce the temperature of the flue gases and then introducing them into a de-dusting system is a common industrial process, often referred to as pre-cooling or pre-cooling. This method can be applied to a variety of industrial processes, especially where high temperature flue gases need to be treated to comply with environmental regulations or to improve the efficiency of the de-dusting system. Principle of pre-cooling: The principle of pre-cooling is to reduce the temperature of the flue gas to a range more suitable for de-dusting by introducing a cooling medium, such as air. This helps to reduce the amount of dust, particulate matter and hazardous substances in the hot flue gas.

Cooling Media Selection: Air is usually one of the commonly used cooling media because it is readily available and does not involve additional processing steps. Other possible cooling media include water and gases, depending on the process and system requirements.

Cooling Equipment: Pre-cooling can be achieved through the use of chillers, finned tube heat exchangers or other specially designed equipment. These devices allow the cooling medium to exchange heat with the flue gas, lowering the flue gas temperature.

Temperature Control: During the pre-cooling process, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature is reduced to the proper range so that the subsequent de-dusting system can operate effectively. The temperature control system typically monitors and maintains the flue gas temperature.

Dedusting system: Once the flue gas has been pre-cooled, it can be introduced into the dedusting system more efficiently.
