Cooling food: Spiral quick-freezer is used for food freezing, the evaporator acts as a cold source, by blowing out the low-temperature airflow and exchanging heat with the food, so that the food can be cooled down and frozen quickly to reduce the loss of nutrients and keep the original flavor of the food.

Formation of stable airflow: a stable horizontal circular low-temperature airflow is formed under the action of the fan and deflector plate to ensure that the frozen food can be uniformly contacted with the cold air inside the quick-freezing chamber to realize rapid and uniform cooling and freezing and to ensure the freezing effect.

Structural components

Outer shell: play the role of protecting and supporting the internal components, usually with a certain degree of sealing to prevent cold air leakage.

Air outlet fan: generally has a number of uniformly arranged on the surface of the outer shell, through the air outlet and air exchange cavity connected. Its role is to blow out the cooled low-temperature gas, so that the cold air in the quick-freezing machine circulation flow, improve the cooling efficiency.

Cooling mechanism: It includes a cooling box for reducing the temperature of the gas, and the cooling box has a cooling cavity for holding the cooling medium, such as ice water or ethylene glycol. The bottom of the cooling box has an inlet pipe and the top has an outlet pipe, the gas enters the cooling cavity through the inlet pipe to fully contact with the cooling medium to cool down, and then discharged through the outlet pipe to the gas exchange cavity.

Air return device: some chillers are also equipped with air return device, such as fan protection net installed on the air return side of the fan, which can effectively avoid the risk of personnel touching, and at the same time play the role of air return, increase the space of air return, so that the air return effect is better.

Electrical control system: It is used to control the operation of the air cooler, including the rotating speed of the fan and the starting and stopping of the cooling mechanism, etc., in order to realize the precise regulation and control of the working state of the chiller and ensure its stable and efficient operation.

Type

Equal Pitch Evaporator: The fins are equally spaced. Generally, when the chiller is designed to be used in the quick-freezing storage of -23℃~-35℃, the equal pitch chiller with a fin pitch of 10-20mm is chosen to maintain a better refrigeration effect in the low-temperature environment and to avoid the fins from frosting and clogging the air ducts too quickly.

Unequal Pitch Evaporator: Large fin spacing on the inlet side and small fin spacing on the outlet side, such as 8-16mm. This type is also suitable for - 23℃~-35℃ quick-freezing storage, and its special fin spacing design can improve the air flow efficiency and heat exchange effect to a certain extent, and reduce the effect of frost on refrigeration.
