Bananas acquired in the market are usually ripe bananas with an attractive golden yellow skin. However, in order to prevent bananas from rotting and spoiling during distribution, they generally need to be picked and refrigerated when they are pure green in color. After arriving at the destination, since bananas normally ripen slowly under natural conditions, they need to be ripened to solve the problem that the shelf life of the fruit is too short and difficult to be transported.


Banana fresh storage is mainly used to extend the freshness of bananas and banana ripening processing of special cold storage, banana library in summer to refrigeration, winter heating, to ensure that the temperature inside the cold storage is controlled at 12 ℃ ~ 15 ℃, relative humidity of 90% to 95%, the library should be ventilated often to prevent the accumulation of ethylene. Bananas should be harvested at seven or eight ripe, ripeness is too high intolerance of storage and transportation, low ripeness quality is poor, storage and transportation, that is, afraid of freezing and afraid of heat, very sensitive to low temperatures, less than 11 ℃ under the storage will lead to the fruit suffered from cold damage, the fruit surface becomes black, the heart of the fruit hardens, the fruit can not be normal ripening. When the temperature exceeds 26 ℃, the fruit ripening can not be normal to turn yellow, when the temperature exceeds 35 ℃, it will cause high temperature scald, so that the fruit skin blackened, pulp saccharification.
