Air Cooler for Quench Tank (Air-Cooled Quench Oil Cooler)

Hot quench oil is pumped out from quench tank, circulates inside heavy-wall finned tubes; multiple direct-drive axial fans blow ambient air across outer aluminum/steel fins to take away oil heat, cooled oil flows back to tank for closed-loop circulation.

Core advantage: 100% water-free cooling → zero water leakage into quench oil, eliminate steam explosion & fire risk (the biggest hidden trouble of water-cooled type).

Key Structural Design (Special for Dirty Quench Oil)

Straight-through large bore tubes (25mm/1 inch OD heavy wall carbon/SS tube)

No U-bend dead space; large flow area resists sludge/carbon blockage from contaminated quench oil; high flow velocity self-scours tube inner wall to reduce fouling.

Removable end header/cover plate

Open both ends directly for brush/flushing cleaning without cutting pipeline, convenient for regular maintenance.

Direct-drive propeller fans (no V-belt)

No belt wear/replacement, low noise, fewer mechanical breakdowns; optional multi-stage fan grouping + VFD speed control for temperature auto-adjustment.

Powder-coated steel frame + sliding thermal expansion base

Offset tube thermal stretch under big temp swing (40~180℃ oil), avoid tube crack from thermal stress.
