Air-cooled heat exchangers (ACEs), sometimes referred to as air coolers, are used in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing plants, compressor stations, power plants, and other facilities.
ACHE is used for process cooling and/or condensation. Thousands of such exchangers are in use today, cooling and/or condensing everything from engine jacket water to process steam to high-viscosity tar. Often, these processes are critical to the operation of a plant. ACHE power outages will result in plant shutdowns or operations at reduced capacity, which can result in significant revenue losses.
Air Cooled Exchanger Options:
Coil design refrigerants: water, oil, glycol.
Multiple circuits. Subcooling circuit.
Stainless steel or aluminum housing.
Coated aluminum or copper fins.
Blasting motor.
Customized fin spacing.
