What is a Surface Cooler?

Surface Cooler: the full name of the surface cooler, the principle is to let the heat or refrigerant or refrigeration medium flow through the inner cavity of the metal pipe, while the air to be treated flows through the outer wall of the metal pipe for heat exchange to achieve the purpose of heating or cooling air;

In the actual engineering, usually the surface cooler tube fluid medium for water, glycol solution, antifreeze, etc..

Installation and use of the surface cooler:

1, the surface cooler should be set up special bracket, not allowed to use the receiver to support the surface cooler.

2、The water supply and return pipeline of the surface cooler should have good heat preservation measures to reduce heat loss or avoid pipe frost.

3、Cold and hot water pipelines should be equipped with exhaust points at high points and drain pipes at low points. In winter, when the surface cooler is not used, the remaining water should be drained to avoid freezing and cracking the copper pipe.

4, for the surface cooler with hot and cold water, do not allow sand, rust, fibre and other impurities, cold air models, including air-cooled modular units, constant temperature and humidity units.
