What Are The Application Scenarios for Submersible Optical Module Heat Exchangers?

Immersion-type optical module heat exchangers are primarily used in hyperscale data centers, artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) server rooms, and high-density communication networks. By directly immersing the optical modules in insulating coolant, it solves the problem of heat accumulation in high-density network equipment.

Core application scenarios are as follows:

AI Training and Inference Clusters: When processing high-computing tasks such as large-scale language modeling (LLM), servers generate enormous amounts of heat. Optical modules need to operate at high frequencies; immersion heat exchange prevents packet loss or frequency reduction due to overheating.

Hyperscale and Edge Data Centers: Effectively reduces the overall PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of the server room, saving significant amounts of air conditioning power through full immersion cooling.

5G/6G Edge Computing Nodes: Communication equipment is evolving towards miniaturization and high integration; heat exchangers can meet the stringent requirements of compact server room spaces and the need for long-term stable operation.
