Working Principle

High-temperature industrial exhaust gas (flue gas) flows through one side of the channel, while low-temperature air/process gas flows through the other side; heat is transferred through the metal tube wall/plate for heat exchange, with hot exhaust gas being cooled and discharged, and cold gas being heated and reused in production, without the risk of medium cross-channeling.

- Typical operating conditions: kilns, boilers, and incineration equipment utilize high-temperature flue gas to preheat combustion air, thereby reducing natural gas/coal consumption

Key technical parameters (commonly used in industry)

- Hot exhaust gas temperature: 120 ~ 850℃

- Recycling side medium: combustion air, process fresh air, process gas to be treated

- Waste heat recovery efficiency: 60%‑82%

- Material: 304 / 316L stainless steel, heat-resistant steel; titanium and Cu-Ni copper-nickel alloy are optional for corrosive conditions; anti-corrosion coating is available

- Key focus: flue gas dew point, system pressure drop, fan matching, leakage rate, ash removal and maintenance structure

Typical application industries

- Heat treatment kilns and boilers: waste heat from flue gas is used to preheat combustion air, saving fuel

- RTO/RCO incineration: After incineration, the high-temperature flue gas preheats the inlet organic waste gas, reducing the energy consumption of auxiliary combustion

- Spray drying and baking production line: baking exhaust gas recovery and heating of fresh air

- Metallurgy, building materials, and chemical industry: recovery and reuse of waste heat from process exhaust gas
