Steam Coil for Textile Tumble Dryer

Textile tumble dryers typically use steam coils to provide a heat source. A steam coil is a heat exchanger that transfers heat from steam to the air passing through it to heat and dry textiles.

A steam coil usually consists of a series of pipes that are usually arranged in a spiral or parallel pattern. As steam flows through these pipes, the walls of the pipes come into contact with the steam and the heat is transferred to the walls and then through the walls to the surrounding air.
