Low-noise Air Handling Units (AHUs) for hotels are designed to operate quietly (typically ≤35–40 dB(A)) while providing comfort, fresh air, and indoor air quality for guest rooms, lobbies, and public areas.

Core Requirements for Hotel AHUs

Noise: Guest rooms ≤32–35 dB(A); corridors/lobbies ≤40–45 dB(A)

Airflow: Guest rooms 30–50 m³/h per person; public areas per design code

Pressure: Medium-high static (150–300 Pa) for long duct runs

Filtration: G4+F8 (PM2.5) or higher for clean air

Heat recovery: Plate/enthalpy wheel to save energy
