How Dry Coolers Work with Bitcoin Miner's Immersion Cooling System?
The dry cooler works in conjunction with the bitcoin miner's immersion cooling system by circulating liquid and heat exchangers to form an efficient thermal management system. Here's how it works:
Mine Submerged Cooling: In a submerged cooling system, the Bitcoin miner is completely submerged in a heat-conducting fluid, usually a dielectric oil with excellent electrical insulation properties. The heat generated by the miner during operation is transferred directly through the liquid, which absorbs the heat and increases in temperature.
Liquid circulation: The heated thermal fluid flows to the dry cooler through a pumping system, forming a closed circulation system. The liquid is filtered and the flow rate is regulated to ensure a steady flow and heat transfer.
Heat Exchange Process: The dry cooler contains internal finned or ducted heat exchangers and the coolant flows through these structures while outside air passes through the dry cooler's heat exchangers or ducts. The cool air is blown by a fan, which removes heat from the liquid, and the temperature of the liquid is reduced.
Circulation return: The cooled liquid is reintroduced into the submerged system via pipework for further cooling of the miner. The circulation and continuous cooling of the liquid ensures that the miner maintains a stable temperature and avoids overheating when working efficiently.
This liquid-air heat transfer combines the efficient thermal conductivity of submerged cooling with the air-dissipating effect of a dry cooler, making it suitable for handling large amounts of heat. At the same time, this fit reduces dependence on water resources and adapts to the demands of high-density mining in different environments.
