Finned Tube Heater for Heating Thermal Oil under High-temperature And High-pressure Conditions
The finned tube heater transfers the heat from the heat source (e.g. high temperature flue gas, steam or electric heating) to the heat transfer oil to warm up to the required temperature of the process in a high temperature and high pressure environment through the principle of enhanced heat transfer by fins. The specific process is as follows:
Heat source side: high-temperature medium (such as flue gas from combustion) flows through the outer side of the finned tube, convective and radiative heat transfer through the increased surface area of the fins and the wall of the tube, and the heat is transferred to the inner wall of the tube.
Thermal oil side: Thermal oil flows in the tube by forced convection, absorbing the heat from the tube wall and increasing the temperature. The presence of fins can significantly reduce the “thermal resistance” and enhance the heat transfer per unit volume, which is especially suitable for high-pressure scenarios where the flow rate of the thermal oil is high and the temperature needs to rise quickly.

Flue gas heating: connected to a combustion furnace, utilizing the high temperature flue gas (800~1000℃) generated by combustion of fuel (natural gas, heavy oil, etc.) as the heat source, suitable for large-scale heat transfer oil heating system.

Chemical industry: high pressure reactor thermal oil heating (such as polymerization reaction, hydrogenation process);
Petroleum refining: crude oil distillation, heavy oil heating system, need to withstand high temperatures of more than 350 ℃ and 1 ~ 3MPa pressure;
New Energy: lithium battery material sintering, photovoltaic glass melting kiln thermal oil heating;
Food and Pharmaceuticals: autoclave sterilizing equipment, vacuum dryer thermal oil temperature control (food-grade thermal oil and stainless steel). Food and medicine: heat conduction oil temperature control for autoclave sterilization equipment and vacuum dryer (food grade heat conduction oil and stainless steel are required).
