Different types of cooling systems especially related to liquid cooling for various applications.

1. Air-cooled radiators:

An air-cooled radiator is a type of heat exchanger that uses ambient air to dissipate the heat of a fluid (usually a coolant or refrigerant). It is commonly used in automotive engines, industrial machinery and other applications. A radiator has a series of ducts or channels through which hot fluid flows, and these ducts are surrounded by fins. As air passes through the fins, heat is transferred from the fluid to the air, thus cooling the fluid. This type of cooling system does not require a separate cooling medium, such as water or refrigerant, but relies solely on air.

2. liquid cooling:

Liquid cooling is a cooling method that uses a fluid (usually water or a specialised coolant) to transfer heat away from a heat source. It is commonly used in high-performance computing systems, gaming computers, and industrial applications. In a liquid cooling system, a pump circulates the liquid through a series of tubes or passages that come into contact with heat-generating components. The heated liquid then flows through a heat sink, releasing the heat into the surrounding air or other external cooling medium.

3. Water-cooled radiators:

The water-cooled radiator is an integral part of the liquid cooling system. It functions similarly to an air-cooled radiator, but is designed for use with a liquid coolant (usually a mixture of water and additives). A water-cooled radiator has tubes or channels for the heated coolant to flow through and these in turn are surrounded by heat sinks. The coolant absorbs heat from the parts with which it comes into contact and then transfers the heat to the fins. The heat sinks are cooled by fans or other means and the heat is eventually dissipated into the surrounding air.

4. Dry cooler:

A dry cooler, also known as an air-cooled heat exchanger, is a type of cooling device used to remove heat from a process fluid without using water as a cooling medium. Dry coolers are typically used in industrial applications where water is scarce or expensive. Similar to air-cooled radiators, dry coolers consist of tubes with fins, and ambient air is used to cool the fluid inside the tubes. These systems are "dry" because they do not involve the direct use of water for cooling.
