Application Scenario
Concentrate Cooling: In alumina production, before the oversaturated sodium aluminate concentrate enters the seed separation tank for decomposition, it needs to be cooled down to ensure that the temperature of the slurry, which enters the first tank of the seed separation after mixing with the concentrate, meets the requirements of the decomposition process, and the concentrate is usually cooled down by means of two-stage plate heat exchangers connected in series.
Heating of mother liquor: In the production process of Bayer alumina seed decomposition, the heat exchanger (usually a removable plate heat exchanger) is used to exchange heat between the semen and the mother liquor from the mother liquor tank, so as to lower the temperature of the semen and heat the mother liquor at the same time, and to increase the temperature of the mother liquor when it enters the evaporation plant.
Heat exchange between return water system and demineralized water system: the return water of alumina plant has high temperature, which must be cooled down before processing, while the temperature of demineralized water is low, and it is difficult to raise the temperature of deoxidizer. Using plate heat exchanger can realize the heat exchange between return water and demineralized water, increase the temperature of demineralized water and reduce the coal consumption of boiler.
Advantage
High heat transfer efficiency: the fluid flows on the corrugated surface constantly changes direction, forming artificial turbulence, so that the medium reaches turbulence at a low flow rate, with a large heat transfer coefficient. In the case of the same pressure loss, its heat transfer coefficient is 3 - 5 times higher than the tube heat exchanger.
Compact structure: large heat transfer area per unit volume, each cubic meter of volume with 250 - 1250m² heat transfer area, covers an area of only one-third of the tube heat exchanger.
Flexible operation: easy to disassemble, clean and overhaul, can increase or decrease the plate to adjust the heat transfer area, can be well adapted to different working conditions and production needs.
Energy-saving effect is obvious: the heat emitted by the hot phase is transmitted to the cold phase through the corrugated metal sheet, so that the cold phase absorbs the heat, the energy is effectively utilized, and the heat recovery rate can be as high as 90% or more.
Applicable to a variety of media: wide flow channel plate heat exchanger is suitable for containing fibers, viscous or solid particles between the material heat transfer, to meet the alumina production of different materials in the heat transfer needs.
