A replacement condenser coil is a direct-fit spare heat exchanger core for air-cooled / water-cooled industrial & commercial chillers (screw, scroll, reciprocating chillers). It replaces original damaged, leaking, fouled or inefficient factory coils without full chiller replacement.
High-pressure superheated refrigerant vapor from compressor flows inside coil tubes; cooling medium (ambient air for air-cooled, cooling tower water for water-cooled) passes over outside fin/tube surface. Heat transfers out of refrigerant → vapor condenses into liquid refrigerant returning to expansion device.
Failed coil causes high head pressure, overloading compressors, high power consumption, frequent shutdown.

Installation Points for Replacement Coil
Recover full refrigerant charge before removing old coil
Clean chiller internal piping, remove residual oil and sludge
Position new coil to original mounting footprint; align fan position (air-cooled) / shell piping (water-cooled)
Brazing joints with nitrogen purge to avoid internal oxide scale inside copper tubes
Pressure hold leak test (dry nitrogen test before vacuum & refrigerant charging)
Test run chiller to confirm normal head pressure and stable running current
