CO2 Evaporator Working Principle
A CO2 evaporator is a heat exchanger used to convert liquid CO2 into gaseous CO2.
In a refrigeration system, liquid CO2 flows through the tubes of the evaporator, while hot air or other media from outside also flows through the evaporator.
As liquid CO2 moves from high pressure to low pressure, it absorbs heat from its surroundings, causing its temperature to decrease and convert it to a gaseous state.
Through the process of evaporation, the CO2 absorbs heat and thus achieves a cooling effect, transferring heat from the surroundings to the CO2.
Applications:
CO2 evaporator is widely used in refrigeration systems, freezers, refrigerated trucks and other equipment and places that require refrigeration.
It is commonly used in supermarkets, food processing plants, chemical plants and other industrial and commercial areas.
Advantages:
Friendly to the environment: CO2 is a natural refrigerant that has less impact on the ozone layer in the atmosphere and global warming.
Energy efficient: CO2 evaporators have a highly efficient refrigeration effect, which allows for energy savings and cost reductions.
