Operating conditions: Coastal location, salt spray (Cl⁻), high humidity, condensation day and night; common faults of ordinary copper-aluminum condensers: copper tube pitting and perforation, aluminum fin powdering and refrigerant leakage, failure within 1-3 years. Replacement: Stainless steel base tube + finned combination condenser

Core issue: Low thermal conductivity of stainless steel, condenser heat exchange compensation

Copper λ≈401; 316L stainless steel λ≈16 W/mK, only about 4% of copper's.

Condenser (air conditioning refrigerant condensation) compensation methods:

Increase the heat exchange area by 35%-55% (compared to the original copper-aluminum condenser for the same cooling capacity); if installation space is limited, prioritize the use of internally threaded 316L tubes.

Using internally threaded thin-walled 316L tubes enhances refrigerant heat exchange within the tubes, reducing the area increase to approximately 30%.

Appropriately increase the wind speed on the front side, but not too high (to prevent excessive noise and water ingress).

Tube bundle arrangement: Reduce the number of tube bundles and increase the fin density to avoid the tube bundles being too deep, which would cause the lower fins to be blocked by salt spray condensation.
