As a hybrid cooling unit, this adiabatic dry cooler solves the performance drop issue of conventional dry coolers under extreme hot climate conditions.
The adiabatic dry cooler runs in two working modes. Under normal ambient temperature, it works as a standard dry cooler with fully dry air‑cooled operation and zero water consumption. When outdoor temperature rises to high‑temperature threshold, the adiabatic pre‑cooling pads activate automatically. Incoming hot air is pre‑cooled by water evaporation before passing through fin‑and‑tube coils, greatly lifting heat rejection capacity without large‑volume water consumption like cooling towers.
Equipped with EC variable‑speed fans and intelligent PLC control system, the unit triggers adiabatic function only when needed. It keeps stable process fluid outlet temperature for gas engine CHP plants, immersion data centers, compressor stations and general manufacturing cooling systems, even under continuous high‑ambient‑temperature surroundings.
