Corrosion in refuse-burning (waste-to-energy) heat exchangers is a major challenge because the flue gas contains aggressive compounds such as chlorides, sulfates, heavy metals, and acidic condensates, in addition to high temperatures. Effective corrosion management combines material selection, desig
