What is the Difference Between Oval Tube Finned Tube Heat Exchanger and Ordinary Finned Tube Heat Exchanger?


Oval tube finned tube heat exchanger and ordinary finned tube heat exchanger are two different structures of heat exchanger, the main difference is the shape of the tube.


Tube shape:

Elliptical Tube Finned Tube Heat Exchanger: In this type of heat exchanger, the tubes have an elliptical cross-sectional shape instead of the traditional round shape. This design provides a larger surface area, which helps to enhance heat transfer.

Plain Finned Tube Heat Exchangers: More common in general industrial and HVAC systems.
